Evaluations for player ages 9 - 12 will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2008. We need volunteers to help with evaluations.

Evaluations will take place at:
Northshore (INDOOR) Sports Complex

You will receive a card in the mail with your evaluation date, time and location around the middle of January. You may also get e-mail reminders if you have an e-mail listed with your on-line registration account.

Boy's Hardball players league age 9 through 12 are requested to attend evaluations. The importance of attending evaluations can not be stressed enough for both players and the league itself.

Evaluations are used to assist in placement of players at a level that they will have success and still be in a competitive environment. Evaluations are mandatory to play at certain division levels. See player level descriptions for more information.

Players should come to evaluations prepared to perform both hitting and fielding skills. It is recommended that the players stretch and warm up just prior to attending evaluations. This evaluation typically consists of the following:

• Players will bunt 1 to 2 pitches and swing away for 3 to 5 pitches (with adult pitching) and will run around the bases.

• Players will field 3 to 4 grounders at shortstop and throw to first base.

• Players will not field fly balls since we will be conducting evaluations indoors this season.

Players league age 9-10 must be evaluated to be eligible to play at the Minor Level.

Players league age 10-12 must be evaluated to be eligible to play at the Major Level.
