  • The infield shall consist of the six (6) players in their proper positions. Pitcher must be positioned on the pitching rubber until the ball has been hit.

  • All other players shall be placed in the outfield. The first row of outfielders may be positioned on the edge of the infield/outfield limits (edge of grass).

  • No player shall play more than two (2) innings at any one defensive position during a game and shall play a minimum of 2 innings in the outfield. • All hitting will be done from the tee. Batter will stay at the plate until they hit the ball. No strikeouts will be permitted.

  • A batted ball must travel at least ten (10) feet from the plate. If after three (3) attempts fail to get the ball beyond ten (10) feet, on the fourth attempt the batter will run regardless of the distance the ball is hit.

  • Batter will be called out if the Umpire judges that a player has thrown the bat in a dangerous manner.

  • A batter/runner may proceed, at the risk of being put out, as far as possible when a batted ball remains inside of the outfield cones (approximately 120 feet from home plate). The batter/runner should not advance beyond second base (ground rule double) on a ball that rolls beyond the outfield cones. A ball which is batted on the fly beyond the outfield cones shall be ruled a home run.
