THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE

Something very special is happening around Northshore every weekend called "Challenger" baseball. It's a special program entering its 10th year that makes sure everyone gets a chance to play America's pastime. Thanks to lots of volunteers from local little leagues, mentally or physically challenged boys & girls from ages 5-18 get a chance to play ball every weekend through June.

Instead of just watching their brothers & sisters play, this program gives hundreds of these special athletes a chance to get out on the diamond and play ball! The Challenger program can always use more volunteers.
